Russian Federation is INCLUDED in the Vietnam visa exemption list so you can enter Vietnam without a visa for stays of no more than 45 consecutive days. However, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Your passport must have a validity of at least 06 months beyond your date of arrival in Vietnam.
- There are at least two blank pages for the visa stamp.
If you want to stay in Vietnam for longer, you can either:
- Leave Vietnam for another nearby country, and come back with another 45-day visa exemption or
- Apply for a 90-day evisa.

3. Russian Federation passport holders can apply for visa on arrival
- Submit online form to request approval letter.
- Receive Vietnam Visa approval letter via email from 1-4 business days or 4 business hours depending on your selection.
- Prepare 2 passport-size photos, Vietnam Visa Approval Letter, immigration forms (NA1 – Entry and Exit Form), stamping fees IN CASH to pay at Immigration Counter at Vietnam airport (25 USD for single entry and 50 USD for multiple entries).
